Nine stones remain of this impressive stone circle, which lies in a field just North
of Dumfries.
Take the A75 North from Dumfries, turn left at Holyfield and stop at the next junction, approximately 400 metres from the A75. There is a stone with a plaque at the side of the road, and a small rough parking area. The entrance to the field is 100 metres down the side-road on the left. The plaque refers to the circle as a henge, but there is no sign of a ditch or embankment.
